Unlike Shurpanaka and Rama, both Bhima and Hidimbi had a
happy story. Hidimbi changed her nature to be with Bhima because of her love
towards him. They had a son named Ghatotkacha. Kundi and her sons had a very
miserable life. The sons begged for food in the morning and Kundi prepared it
during night. A Brahmin family gave them shelter. When Kundi realized that
their family is in danger by Baka, she called upon Bhima and helped slay Baka.
These episodes of Mahabharata is quiet violent. There is a lot of killing and
evilness. Only pleasant part I read so far is the love story between Bhima and
Hidimbi.
